Happy 10th adoption day to our Arlo! The first picture, 12.31.2008, was when he realized he was home and could claim a blanket for his very own—the smile says it all! The second was taken just now, 12.31.2018, after a day of being spoiled. He had hamburger for dinner, his favorite quilt (his “kitty-cat blanket”) washed with extra fabric softener (he loves the smell as well as the feel), and homemade dog cookies during the day. He is a special boy: he is so kind and considerate, never growls or acts territorial, and lets his much smaller dachshund Ellie walk all over him. He can also say his own name!
