DayZ and Xsplit
So I've been holding it off forever now and I really want to release an X-Split tutorial, but I want to provide as much information as I possibly can within a proper time limit. I really don't want to drag out a video to 30 minutes because I know most people will stop watching after 12 minutes or maybe even less.
This is something that has to be done though and there is no way to avoid it, so tomorrow when I wake up, my top priority is to get that damn streaming tutorial finished for all my fellow gamers so they can start streaming their games. In the tutorial I will be using both DXTory and Xsplit, which is a great combo because the quality is much better than what Xsplit offers by default and you don't have to pay the fee for XSplit to stream your games.
In other news, HvK-Gaming finally has their own DayZ server. This is the only server within HvK that I do not personally have control over as DarkLiberator purchased this server for us (Big thanks to him!). On top of this, I added a regular Arma II server to our box as the game is much better now than my first experience with it. I have several missions loaded into the Arma II server, but once I finish tinkering with it I will add the favorites in and hopefully have the parameters set up so we can get some solid gameplay from it.
Speaking of Arma II/DayZ, I found a TON of footage (over 4-5 hours worth) that I will be editing into videos here pretty soon so be sure to check that out. I will announce this in my video tomorrow as well (I'll be doing the DAYZ video I missed on Friday, sorry about that!).
That's it for today's blog, take it easy =)
