Attorney Baligod says AFP now using its entire Cyber Force to monitor all of his and Mike Defensor’s Communications

Attorney Levi Baligod, the one who led the Press Conference of the 18 former Soldiers of the Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) recently who said they were tasked to bring Suitcases full of Money to Bong Bong Marcos (BBM) and his Allies now says that he received Information that the Leadership of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has instructed the Cyber Units of their Organization to monitor all of the Communications of him and Mike Defensor.

Baligod released the Information thru his Social Media Accounts, here is what he wrote on a Threads Post: “Info states that AFP leadership gave instructions to all Cyber Unit Commanders (GHQ, PA, PAF, PN, ISAFP, ISG, NISG & PAF Intel Wing) to monitor all forms of communications (voice calls thru mobile phones, text messages, land line, email, fax etc) of “Atty Levi Baligod and Sec Mike Defensor.”

To all Security Forces: your resources are of better use if deployed against REAL enemies for the protection of the PEOPLE and the STATE, not against people like me.”

So far I have not seen yet a Response by the AFP to Baligod’s Statements. Now if this is true, then it seems that the AFP is trying to squeeze these two People to defend the Administration of BBM from the current Corruption Scandal.

This would then be contrary to what the Chief of the AFP General Romeo Brawner Jr. said that they will not interfere in the current Political Situation.

Allegations of Verbal Abuse, Mistreatment and a suspicious Luxurious Lifestyle have now come out against the Wife of the AFP Chief

The “Mr. Riyoh” Page on Facebook recently posted some serious Allegations regarding the Wife of the current Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). I am reprinting the entire Post below, but also translating it in English:

“LUXURIOUS LIFESTYLE? ALLEGED ABUSE BY THE WIFE OF A HIGH-LEVEL AFP OFFICIAL, CRITICIZED BY STAFF

​A Series of serious Allegations are currently making the Rounds in the Military Ranks after some Staff Members issued strong Complaints against Mrs. Melody Brawner, the Wife of AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. ​ The Complaints focused on the alleged "Inhumane Treatment" of Personnel and the Lady's Lavish or Luxurious Lifestyle that is now being questioned by the Public.

​Complaint of Insult ​According to information received from Personnel who are afraid to come forward, it seems that Mrs. Melody Brawner considers the AFP as her own Property. The Complaint against her is her alleged frequent swearing and treatment of Soldiers and Staff as Personal Servants or "Property." She even calls herself the "First Lady" of the AFP. ​ Due to this supposed "Evil and Cruelty," some Colleagues are warning that they are already losing patience with the ill-treatment, interference, and verbal and physical abuse of the so-called "First Lady of the AFP."

According to Informants, she considers herself higher than the Chief of Staff. She allegedly attacks and shouts at General Brawner whenever they fight even within the hearing distance of AFP Staff.

​Luxury Questioned: Hermes, Gucci, Valentino, and Prada Also at the Center of the Criticism is the call for Transparency on the Source of Mrs. Melody Brawner's boasted wealth.

In Public Photos circulating on Social Media, alleged Evidence of her Luxurious Lifestyle can be seen while many Soldiers are struggling:

​Designer Brands: The Lady is said to often flaunt expensive Brands such as Hermes, Gucci, Prada, Valentino, and others.

​Luxury Accessories: Also featured are expensive Jewelry and branded Watches, Shoes, and Clothes that show a Luxurious Lifestyle.

​Lifestyle Check: The Staff questioned where the Funds for these Luxuries come from since the Lady allegedly has no clear source of income that is sufficient to support this Lifestyle. Her Behavior is said to be very different from her Husband who dresses and lives simply.

Rules under R.A. 6713 ​If these Allegations are proven true, it could violate Republic Act No. 6713 or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees. ​ Although she is the Wife of an Official, the Law emphasizes that Public Servants and their Families should live simply.

"Conspicuous Consumption" or Excessive Display of Luxury disproportionate to Income is strictly monitored under the Government to prevent corruption and abuse of power.

​There is no Statement yet, or no official Statement has been released by the AFP, Mrs. Melody Brawner, or Gen. Brawner's Camp to clarify the spreading Accusations.

The Page of Mr. Riyoh remains open for any explanation or clarification regarding the serious Allegations being made against the Wife of the Chief of Staff.

Hopefully this is just a start as an Active and High Ranking Member of the Philippine Army publicly withdraws his support for BBM

The Filipino People is worth fighting for … Mabuhay ang Pilipinas."

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is now threatening to remove the Pensions of their Retired Officials and Personnel if they speak out against the Administration of Bong Bong Marcos (BBM). All I can say is, ‘masisira lang kayo AFP sa Taongbayan sa kakatanggol ng Bangag na iyan’ (you will only ruin your Reputation AFP to the Filipino People by continuing to defend that Drug Addict)

Marcos Jr. betrays Soldiers with False Hopes as he fails to properly fund the Php 2 trillion AFP Modernization he promised

In January of 2024, the Administration of Ferdinand Marcos Jr. or Bong Bong Marcos (BBM) revealed a very ambitious Plan for the Horizon 3 of the Modernization of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) that worth a staggering Php 2 trillion to be spent in the next ten Years.

However, subsequent Data in the last two Years shows that the Plan in fact has NOT been properly funded for it to be executed properly. First of all, it doesn’t take a Genius to figure out that to spend Php 2 trillion in ten Years, the Government will have to spend at minimum around Php 200 billion per Year.

But that has not happened, the overall Budget for the Modernization per Year has not even reached at least half of that recently. Since the Plan was publicly released in the first Part of 2024, then naturally it was finalized and approved the previous Year of 2023 and thus its start should’ve been in 2024 already.

And yet in 2024, only Php 40 billion was allocated in Terms of “Programmed Appropriations” for the AFP Modernization, and this Year it even went down to Php 35 billion. Programmed Appropriations are very important because it means SURE FUNDING, it means that the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) is obligated to release that Money within the Budget Year.

So all the Department of National Defense (DND) has to do is wait for it to be released so it can sign the Contracts that it had prepared. The Marcos Administration also did include “UnProgrammed Appropriations” for the AFP Modernization, but these are “unsure funding”, more of a “maybe” than anything else since the DBM is not obligated to release it, only if it finds extra Money from somewhere.

But even with these UnProgrammed Appropriations, the Budget would still be not enough, as it was only Php 10 billion in 2024 and Php 40 billion in 2025. So the overall total per Year if we add the Programmed and UnProgrammed Appropriations was only Php 50 billion in 2024 and Php 75 billion in 2025.

So again, WAY below the required Php 200 billion per Year minimum that was needed. In Theory it is still possible for the BBM Administration to suddenly splurge hundreds of millions of Pesos in the next three Years to catch up with its expected spending for the AFP Modernization.

But that is very unlikely since it will also mean taking away Money from other Areas of the Budget like Education, Infrastructure, etc. And any such huge spending will be opposed by the People, and most especially by the Legal Fronts and Sympathizers of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) which are now his Political Allies.
