I headcanon jimbo was born on August 8 purely because of the fact he is suspect no 8 in literally every map he appears in. Because I like playing the game a chronically online amount of time and after a while thats boring if you do it bland, I started to sing that one song that goes "five six seven eight" that was like ridiculously popular in 2020
I kid you not every time I sing the song and i get to eight its always Jimbo. I checked it out, in EVERY MAP HE IS IN hes number 8. Even when u check the suspects in ur office hes number 8 (which is kindaa surprising because as far as I remember some suspects arent the same place as their numbers there) so yeah thats a fun fact.
Alsooo the Hal doodle was based off a danganronpa au I made in my mind when I was trying to sleep one night, which isnt surprising considering the lore wasnt that deep.
You know his dialogue after you give him his keys where he goes like "oh thank god someone has good in their heart" ? Yea I took that. I took it and I turned him into human hater. In the au he completely loses hope in humans because he sees them as nothing but bad (though since armless detective helps him and gives him the frozen rose hes excluded) and he decides to kill them based off that idea. Bad clone is monokuma because he wanted to honor armless in his own way (even if its kind of haunting from any other perspective...)
