Armour Event Update
Armour University & SHIELD, as of February 14 at 11:59pm, have been compromised. The campus and its facilities have been lost, along with countless lives. To those lucky enough to have successfully fled the school, the regathering area is at 1407 Graymalkin Lane, Salem Center, Westchester County; Xavier's Institution. For those who intend to get to the site by foot, the walking distance is a 17 1/2 hour endeavor. Its recommended to find transportation of some sort. Public transport, from the Grand Central station to Purdy's Station takes 1 hour and 20 minutes. Those looking to reconvene are encouraged to take this method of transport, if driving themselves is not an option.
Due to the tragedy, there is a great media outcry and the city is in a paranoid havoc as news outlets dub the campus attack a 'terrorist act of the foulest sort'. The nation is keenly aware of the events that have played out and security measures and police activity around the city are at an all time high. It is suggested students and professors avoid exposing themselves of having ties to the institution.
We implore players to consider the realities of this event to the fullest. Characters parents, if applicable, will know of the Armour attack, as will anyone else in their lives; the whole country knows of the event. Also, realism is requested in regards to what resources characters will have with them following the attack and their fleeing of the school. In the suddenness of it all, did your character grab their laptop? What about their phones, wallets, pets, or a full wardrobe? Maybe they didn't grab anything at all. Consider the sacrifices and casualties in an event of this caliber and play accordingly. If you need help or suggestions, any and all mods are available and happy to assist you!
