This is really late, but I wanted to bring this up in case anybody was wondering. I was in the Court of Masks for a brief time, and you may remember that I performed at this last Horde Cultural Festival, my fire dancer character specifically.
I just wanted to say that I had no idea about any of the past Arnois drama, nor did I have any idea that he was like this. I wasn’t particularly close with him, we would only chat about guild events and such, but the Nazi shit did surprise me, being a woman of Jewish descent.
A lot of you may already know this, but most of us in the Court of Masks were in the dark about all this drama, that being said, most of us have left and joined other guilds and such.
I am sorry to anyone he has hurt. Truly. Being an optimist, I also hope he learns from this and changes his ways, however unlikely it may be. This server, ever since I have joined, has been toxic and full of drama and people covering up the misdeeds of others, as well as many undeserved witch hunts, my best friend being one who was shit-talked and slut-shamed because of how her character is ICly.
I’d really like to point out that we, each individual, as a community, need to be working a lot harder to treat each other with the dignity and respect that we want to be treated with. I thought that was common practice when I joined the server, but quickly learned otherwise.
Please, please, spread love and positivity, people! It’s not hard. A lot of us use the game as an escape, not a hub to gossip and spread toxicity.
