whenever i tell someone that women make me feel relaxed and affectionate at first glance as an aroace lesbian people tell me “that’s just romantic attraction”, and yet this exact feelin’ seem to also be so niche i don’t even see it described in articles that come close to what i feel. so i tend to think these people either a) be lyin’ to try and make me take a more “normal” label, b) not even talkin’ about the right experience in the right context, or c) have something very important to tell me

i been tryna find a reason as to why i call myself aroace lesbian and not aroace trixic or whatever else the equivalent is to nblw as a transneu because i don’t like bein’ called a woman at all nor do i see myself and my gender through binary terms. i think, for me at least, despite not bein’ associated with woman gender wise, i love women too much to not welcome they presence tint a part of my soul even if it’s not apart of how i see my gender (along with the fact that neutral is like unisex so it would fit with lesbianisn gender wise anyway). my soul interacts with the woman i love and it create something lesbian in me. i love it. i think i’m satisfied with my answer.
