Happy Pride Month!
Just wanted to share my experiences as both an Aroace and non-binary person:
Non-binary experiences:
• I never liked identifying as a girl at birth, or even a boy if I wanted to transition… My sibling helped me to discover I’m non-binary! 💜💛🖤🤍. Although, I still present as masc.’! ^_^
• As for being Aroace, wow. I thought I was broken for not having identified as straight, gay, pan, any of the sort. I was worried I’d grow up alone, had a few run-ins with crushes, but never wanted to pursue relationships… My sibling, once more, also told me I might be Aroace. Since then, I’ve been proud (and even glad) to realize I’m not “broken” for not being attracted to anyone! 🧡💙💛🤍
Thank you for listening to my experiences. For anyone else who’s still discovering yourself, be kind to yourself, be self-compassionate. Eventually, you’ll discover who you’re meant to be ❤️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
Happy pride once more from Salmon 🎏
