W-what?
Even though he said he didn't care about that girl, he did feel a bit of shame for forgetting her birthday. She was probably used to it, though. How many people in her life would've bothered to wish her a happy birthday? Not many, he imagined.
That didn't excuse him from it, however. They were classmates who survived a death game. Forging a bond over traumas and trials is not an easy thing to do, yet they managed to achieve such a bond. Surely she deserved a congratulations for existing for so long, at least? Even if it is a pretty useless existence. No, that's not right. She isn't useless. Her birthday was last week, but better late than never, right?
He had forgotten about that dare from a few weeks back, too. Give Fukawa a kiss, was it?
Fukawa's apartment was quite a distance away, but Byakua decided to walk. It had been a long time since he took a nice, long stroll by himself. Being quite busy these days, he had his chauffeur drive him everywhere. It was a good chance for him to stretch his legs.
Good thing he decided to, too. There was a florist on the way that caught his eye. He stopped by and chose the most impressive bouquet of azaleas he could find for her. Hopefully her house wasn't so dirty they'd die.
Oh! Who are these for? Your girlfriend? What a lucky girl! This is one of the most expensive bouquets we have, you know! The florist rattled off as he wrapped the flowers up. Hey, do you know what azaleas mean? They mean "t-
No, they're just for a friend. Byakuya replied curtly as he turned and left. Good day to you.
He continued walking, holding the bunch of azaleas carefully with both hands. Now that he could see her house over the tops of other houses, he was getting nervous. But why? Why would he be nervous? She would undoubtedly and unconditionally love his visit, so why were his nerves acting up? Perhaps it was because he'd never done such a thing before.
He spent a long time in his own thoughts, but Byakuya finally arrived at Fukawa's house. He knocked on the door and waited.
Happy Birthday, Fukawa-san!!!

{Ah, it's ok! I actually have this feeling as if I accidently dropped our thread... I can't find any draft of it on my account right now /A/. As for Fukuwa...Hmm, I'll see whether I can think of a plot of how they both meet. I'll look forward to RPing with you!}

Literary Rivals {arottenlove}
Back in Hope's Peak, Touko and Hifumi never interacted too often.
Frankly, there were a lot of reasons as to why-- even if they both were writers, their personalities certainly did not attract! How could someone whom loves doujinshi and manga bond with someone who thinks of them as filth? Such a mindset as that... it was...
Typical of those uncultured swine who saw doujins as nothing but pornography!!
As such, upon seeing Fukawa for the first time in a long time, Yamada's cried,
YOU--!! MY SWORN RIVAL!!
Running as fast as those stick legs of his could take him (it's amazing he didn't fall down, really), Hifumi stood tall before the novelist.
Fukawa Touko-dono...! I suppose I had expected to meet you again one of these days!! Us warriors, hailing from the north and south of the same region... it's destiny!!
... He took a pause. Said pause was enough to calm the bucket of lard down a tad, prompting a slight exhale to come from his slightly smelly body.
... That being said, it's good to see you alive again. Even if you're my enemy.
H-Happy birthday Naegi
! Thank you Fukawa-san!
