Time for me to do a bit of plugging. These are the headphones I have. I have had them for over three years now. This may not seem like a big deal, but I am an incredibly unintentionally destructive person. I try to care for my things as best as I can, but honestly? Sometimes I just forget. These headphones have been sat on, stepped on by me and various other people, I've yanked on the cord more times than I can count, and hard enough to make me flinch. I don't actually comprehend how these headphones HAVEN'T broken, but they've survived being crushed, sat on, dangled, yanked on, and thrown around for THREE YEARS and they still work FLAWLESSLY. I cannot stress enough how great they are. The only notable difference between a brand new pair is that since mine have been broken in as it were (the speakers have reached full flexibility and aren't stiff, think of it like breaking in leather), they're a little tiny bit quieter. That's it. No loss of sound quality(which is bloody fantastic, for the record), none of that one ear going out nonsense, flawless performance. The low end (the bass) is a bit coloured so as to be thunderous and rich, but the mids and highs are still perfectly clear and crisp. They're big around-ears but despite their size and how heavy you would EXPECT them to be on power input required, they use about the same amount to run at full capacity as most in-ears(which is voodoo or something, i don't know HOW they pulled it off). If you've got the skills, they're even easy to mod a mic into. My literal ONLY quip about them is i would have preferred real leather earcups, but I can understand why you wouldn't want real leather, it'd leech dye out of it onto your skin if it was any colour other than white, and that would just look embarassing. (To my knowledge no amount of washing stops the dye from leeching out of leather, i have 5-6 year old gloves that do it and they've been through the washer a billion times as a test). I will SING praise for these headphones the rest of my life. The site says the MSRP is $199, but they tend to be on sale for $100-$130 now. They're cheaper than a lot of other brands' big headphones, they sound immensely better, they will NOT BREAK and I genuinely would bet they'd still work fine after you ran them over with a CAR, and you will never regret the purchase.
