Kristie and Harry. [Part 1]
"I've got to hand it to you, this wedding is beautiful," Harry sighed before taking a sip of champagne.
"Thanks!" Liam half threw his arm across his shoulders, "I'm glad you and the guys got to come."
"I am, too."
"Hey, what do you say you come meet my cousin? She's a real good looking girl, I'm sure she'd spare a dance for you," Liam said with a smirk.
"Oh, no. Sorry, Liam, but I can't date any more of your family. It's way too weird after your other cousin," he brushed the statement off.
Liam thought for a second, "You're probably right, Kristen is psycho. Anyway, I've got to go find that wife of mine," he said with a huge grin, "catch you later!"
Harry waved him off as he sat back in his chair. He thought about how happy he was for Liam, starting a new life chapter with the girl of his dreams. He thought about the other guys, what was happening with them, how happy they seemed. Then he thought about his own life. He was content, yes, but there was something he seemed to be missing.
His smile had almost fallen away when he found a set of eyes looking his way. He stared back into them, and soon found his smile matching the one on this face. This girl he caught sight of was beautiful, no doubt. The spontaneous part of Harry told him to go talk to her, and he made his way to the near opposite side of the room.
"Hi," Harry nearly whispered as he sat next to her at the empty table.
"Hi," the girl smiled back.
"A-are you a friend of the bride or groom?" he asked.
"Mm, more the groom, but I know both of them." Her stunning smile lingered; Harry couldn't look away if he wanted to.
Only moments after this short introduction, the two were lost in a conversation. They talked about bars, movies, concerts, trips, adventures, books, drinks, and anything else they could think of.
In the middle of a thought, this girl showed a sly grin and carefully took Harry's hand. "I've got a crazy idea. Do you want to get out of here?"
