A dream I had
So in this dream I still lived in our childhood home and I had just bathed in our sauna. For some reason I thought it was a good idea to go cool myself in a nearby crossroads. I just sat there naked and thought how cool it would be to own this old (nonexistent) mansion which was few kilometers away from our house in that dream.
Suddenly Neil Gaiman drove past me in a really crappy car. Apparently he was on his way to buy that mansion. I felt horribly embarrassed that I just HAD to be naked the first time he saw me.
I woke up feeling really confused.
It bothers me how most retellings of Peter Pan are either sugar-coated or extremely dark and gritty. Don’t get me wrong, I love the grittier retellings, but I’d like to see one more tale about Peter Pan which is the perfect mixture of charming and dark like the original book.

Screw the rules! I'm gonna go sing karaoke looking like hipster Morticia Addams!
Note to self: Do NOT watch "The Mighty Boosh" til' 1 AM. Your brain will do weird things!
I tend to think fictional characters as friends, and Peter Pan is one of my oldest fictional friends. Unlike most Finnish children, I didn’t grow up with the Disney version of Peter Pan, I grew up with the original book where Peter was horrible and lovable at the same time. I always had sort of love-hate relationship with Peter. I hated him for being so selfish, but loved him at the same time for being what he is.
