10. Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?
Gambit said he doesn’t have any. He’s perfectly stable, thank ya v’ry much.
11. Intellectual pursuits?
Remy is always willing to learn, but he tends to do it more on the job and as needed. He’s not a booksmarts guy. He’s street smart and people wise (though also rather dim).
12. Favorite book genre?
Thriller. He’ll read from time to time to escape the nightmare that his own life has become from time to time. He figures, why not let someone else live in the nightmare? At least he can end a book. There seems to be no end to his current struggles.
13. Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general?
Remy is a known ladies man. He’s a shameless flirt. He’s not exactly gender specific in his flirting but he tends toward the ladies more. He is a highly sexual creature. As far as sexual orientation in general goes, love is love and he says let’s make love. Sexual orientation isn’t something he focuses on so much. He really doesn’t see how it makes a difference. He’s either going to like someone or not, who they sleep with isn’t going to be a deciding factor in that… gender wise anyway.
14. Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.)
His bright red eyes are a bit of an abnormality and have given him the name Le Diable Blanc (the White Devil)
15. Biggest and smallest short term goal?
Survive the class he’s teaching. Also, not to kill the students in said class….
16. Biggest and smallest long term goal?
Mostly to stay alive. Possibly to get Rogue to kiss him (that’s always his goal, let’s be real. It will ALWAYS be his goal.)
17. Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress
Remy likes relaxed attire. Dark jeans, simple tees and a leather coat normally. For work, its more skin tight… Spandex makes it easier for him to move. He requires it for the tight spaces he gets himself into. He’s a skilled gymnast he needs to be unencumbered by clothing when he’s working. He also wears his trench coat over his outfit much of the time.
18. Favorite beverage?
Alcoholic would be bourbon. Non alcoholic, more likely water. Staying hydrated is important in his line of work, however, coffee is a life force so there is that as well.
19. What do they think about before falling asleep at night?
On the rare occation that he’s not so exahusted that he literally passes out when his head hits the pillow, he probably thinks about events of the day and perhaps what he would have preferred doing.
20. Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?
It’s not an illness, but his mutant status is often seen as one. He was abandoned by his parents when he was very young. He couldn’t exactly hide that he was a mutant like others could. His eyes are as red as rubies. His abilities have presented and changed over the years, but that could be considered a childhood illness. He doesn’t considering to be one though.
