Hi there, nice to meet you. Welcome to my dedicated Homestuck cosplay Tumblr. ^^
Sorry that this came out after my cosplay progress post. I got so caught up with typing it all out, that I just decided that I was already here, and posted it first instead.
Now that is all said and done, time for a quick Q&A to get a little bit of an idea of what my Tumblr is about, and just a little bit about me. ^^
What can we expect to see from any of your social platforms in the future?
For Tumblr- Cosplay photo’s, progress updates, possibly guides, and tutorials, maybe some Tumblr exclusive content.
Youtube- Skits, Con-Vlogs, possible tutorials (Makeup, Costume pieces, Props. etc, etc.)
Instagram- Same as Tumblr.
TikTok- I mean, what can I really say about Tiktok? It’s Tiktok. (I miss Vine so much. I would totally make Homestuck vines if I could. Rest in peace, my friend.)
Do you plan on doing any Hiveswap, Hiveswap: Friendism, and or any other Homestuck related cosplays?
Not at this moment and time, as already I have ALOT of characters on my plate. That’s not even including their Godtiers or any of their other outfits that I fancy besides their “base” outfit.
Also, I feel like, at least with it pertaining to Hiveswap and it’s Friendism counterpart, I would make a separate Tumblr, Youtube, Instagram, etc, etc. As I feel that, although Hiveswap and Friendism are related to Homestuck, they are in its own right, an individual thing.
that’s just my opinion though.
(Lanque and Marvus are totally the first two on my list, once I can get around to it.)
As for the Epilogue, possibly.
If I did, I would keep them on this Tumblr, since it technically pertains to Homestuck.
Will you be doing any of the adult’s/ancestors?
Yes, I do plan on cosplaying the ancestors. The beta ones at least, as I would like to explore the creative interpretation of what I would think our fellow beta trolls would look like in their ancestor's previous footsteps in the alpha timeline.
Now, I’ll admit at this time, I don’t really have an interest in cosplaying either the beta or alpha adults. However, I won’t close the door to that idea completely. I might change my mind in the future.
We will see.
Can we come to say hi/ interact with you at cons?
Absolutely! please don’t be afraid to come hang out with me. I’d love to take photos and talk about Homestuck or any other fandom out there. I’m a little shy in person, but once I usually get the vibe. I’m quite bubbly and talkative. Although, please forgive me when it comes to Kurloz, I have a specific plan for his stitches that would make it impossible to talk. Which means I better start learning sign language real fast when I finally get the chance to cosplay him haha.
I think those are all the things that I think I needed to say for the time being. I can always just another Q&A post later.
