How the hell do some of y’all do art so fast? What is this magic?
Rage quitting art because I just shaded the entire right wing... On the wrong layer... Yeah, I'm done for now. Fuck.
Not me having a mental breakdown because I can't translate my ideas into actual art
How do a lot of artists have wonderful signatures? Mine is, uh, not pretty.
My therapist and I figured out what's blocking my art mind a little and making the perfectionism come back: I'm thinking of practice as having no fun whatsoever. I have to think of it as playing instead. It's the word practice that's getting me stuck.
I know it's because people tend to value digital art over traditional, but why is it that when I post a digital coloring page I get more notes than when I post traditional art I worked my butt off on for hours?
I should probably still work on the Contrast Week drawings at some point, given that I was excited about them. I just… ended up not doing any of them because perfectionism got the best of me.
