TAMING OF THE STRIPES
You won't have to go far for art this month in Philly. Norma Bessières’ zebra-inspired “Taming of the Stripes” art exhibit opened in the Sofitel lobby on March 15. Also on display is the menu created by Executive Chef Jim Colemen that pays tribute to the African theme. Offerings include an array of authentic African dishes tinged with a few French elements such as Ghana soup shooters, Nigerian pancakes with smoked shrimp, and Kenya M’Baazi—a dish comprised of coconut beans in lettuce envelopes—among other native fare. How magnifique!
