Sooooooo step by step for the picture "When will those BLU sissies pop out?"
For a change I start with a messy sketch that didn't even fit the damn page. I scanned, on photoshop adjusted so it could fit on a A4 page, then printed and then transfered to a watercolour papersheet. Brand is Fabrianno btw
Then, I lay the first colours. This is when the picture looks ugly that it makes you feel frustrated.
Because this was done traditionally, and Soldier is a character I never painted with watercolours, I decided to work on his boots and pants, to see if I liked the result enough to continue.
And I did like so might as well continue
And finish it.
Oh yeah the grey thingie is masking fluid. It is really awesome to work with that
