Professor Kneebone and other Art Workers’Guild members will be working with young students to explore how the arts help surgical skills at the Wellcome Collection Saturday Studio, November 17th. Please read the link for full information.
A plate by Gerald Moira from a collection of theatrical costume designs for Beauty’s Awakening: A Masque of Winter and of Spring (1899). The masque was put on by the Art Workers Guild, founded in 1884 and a locus of the Arts and Crafts movement in England. The guild is still active; you can learn more about it at their web site (as well as hire an artist, should you need one).
