‘I told you because I want you to know.’ Vincent paused, taking a deep breath and looking back at Vitali. ‘Because… Because I trust you. I might’ve not come up with it myself, but- I like it. As long as I don’t think about it too long, I guess. And- I dunno. I guess I just want you to know.’ Vitali leaned in further, until Vincent’s shoulder was pressed comfortably against his chest- and Vincent longingly glanced down at his lips and wondered what they would feel like on his own and he desperately wanted to close the distance between them and give in to his desire- - chasing stars, chapter 2 [x] // ch1 [x]

Vitali placed the shard on the countertop and raised his hands- they gently cradled Vincent’s face, thumbs reassuringly rubbing over the uneven skin of his cheeks and fingertips like raindrops softly colliding with his jaw and slowly dragging down his neck. ‘Thank you,’ he said, leaning in to press his forehead against Vincent’s- and Vincent once again glanced down at his lips, and silently wondered if they were as soft as they looked and if they tasted anything at all like sweet coffee and vanilla. - chasing stars, chapter 1 [x]
