Villian: This plan doesn’t sound like your idea.
Hero: What? Are you calling me stupid?
Villian: I’m calling you loyal to the wrong people.
Hero: And who do you think I should be loyal to? You?
Villian: Yourself.

SHADOWHUNTERS (2016-2019)
My new blanket with 63 of my favourite ships on it!
The ships order goes from bottom to top, left to right so when I'm sitting up in bed on my phone the images are facing me.
Thanks to @italymystery-swanqueen and @olgipolgi for letting me use their edits.
I find so annoying when people say, “Clary and Isabelle hate each other at first just because they’re both beautiful, what a terrible storyline.” Like… did we even read the same books?
First of all, they don’t hate each other. There’s barely hate between them at most only tension in some moments at the beginning, and it’s more deep than simply because of the whole “beautiful girl vs beautiful girl” thing people reduce it to.
Some of you sound like grown adults who don’t understand teenage girls at all. Have you never felt insecure around someone you thought fit certain beauty standards better than you? Never felt a bit intimidated or jealous of another girl because she seemed prettier, more confident, or more effortlessly admired? Because I definitely have, more than once, and there’s nothing evil about that. It’s an incredibly normal human emotion, esp for teenage girls still figuring themselves out.
People talk about this dynamic as if it’s some morally horrific writing choice but no It’s not toxic for a character to feel intimidated or slightly envious sometimes. That’s part of being human. Some of you need to stop acting like every imperfect emotion a female character has is some unforgivable offense and just accept that teenage girls are allowed to be messy and insecure. Plus, they overcome that and become very dear to each other. They would do anything to protect one another, and love each other, yet people still complain. Like what the fuck?
do you guys get it??? DO YOU???
