These were my two favorites! I really think they're the best visually. I had trouble deciding who to put first because while they both look good, I feel like Gangle would be the best technically but I have bias towards Pomni since she's my fave character. I went with Pomni though because I definitely put more thought into parts of the composition and coloring that I didn't for others. Gangle's definitely a close second though ;).
A: Gangle(Maskless), Jax, Ragatha
The first one's easy, I like it because it's just Gangle again but without an important feature of the drawing. Jax and Ragatha I both liked pretty well. Jax got the edge tho since I think the way I drew him is better and the background is nicer. Fun fact Jax was the one first I finished because he's just a bunch of straight lines he's so easy to draw. I'm proud of Ragatha since she turned out so well despite my doubts, but there's still stuff that bothers me like the outline on the hem of the skirt is too thin, and I forgot to add lines to her hair to make it look like yarn.
B: Zooble(Eyebrowless) and Caine+Bubble
Somehow removing their eyebrow did a lot to make it feel better lol. Tho looking at it again I maybe should've put og Zooble above Caine but I already clicked out of the tierlist and I'm lazy. I'll explain Zooble for C since that's the version I was working with. I think Caine isn't terrible but I definitely need more practice with him, the proportions are all off. Mostly the arms. You can just tell I don't draw Caine. The background is fine too but I wish I put more effort into Bubble. Originally it was gonna be a bunch of (tadc) Bubbles l, but I realized I didn't want to draw all those face and make sure they over lap properly so I just settled for the big Bubble. Last note is that not doing the name was on purpose and idk how I would fit it anyway but it kinda loses the theme so I kinda regret that.
C: Zooble
Like I said in B, I actually think this should go above Caine. But yeah I'm not actually that unsatisfied with this, it was just comparing it to Gangle that I think upset me. There are still problems I have with it like I don't think they look animated enough, the proportions are kinda wonky, and I feel like there could've been a better background. I am proud I drew Zooble at all though! Like I was debating on the crossed arm pose because I didn't know if I could pull it off. But the thing is having bot their arms laying flat would've been boring, and I didn't want their hand on their hip like the reference I was looking at because it would've been like Jax, but the crossed arms felt too convoluted (heh) for a first try. But I did it! I also really like how I did their name. Did you notice Gangle and Zooble have GL and BL next to eachother in their drawings? That wasn't on purpose lol.
D: Kinger
I really wish D was still really good despite being my least favorite, but alas, I have flaws and I can't draw perfectly. I really wish I did Kinger better, this almost means nothing since I love all of the main cast, but I really do think he's a great character and I wanted to do him justice. Unlike Ragatha I think adding those lines to make the wood texture are the worst part, or I at least could've done it better. Also I think he isn't long enough, despite not bringing it up everytime, they all have some sort of proportion mess up except maybe Gangle? (I still think her legs are kinda short but that's the least bad) The butterfly was planned from the start but I completely forgot to draw it in both the sketch and the line art and added it last minute. Also while I think he deserved a specialized background this one just wasn't that good. I swear I had a better idea but it fled my mind.
