Нашла в телефоне фото из галереи ART4. Наверное, это знак, чтобы я в ближайшее время пришла туда на выставку.

BLOOP! #Repost from @culturestrike: Welcome to another @culturestrike editorial cartoon. Last week, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee sent out an email (bit.ly/dcccemail) to their list, featuring several ideas for stickers that... fell short, if not, entirely tone deaf. It was one of their efforts to engage their followers in the upcoming midterm 2018 elections with imagery and messaging. Not only were all stickers reflective of the same tired slogans ("Resist & Persist"), one of them went the extra mile to highlight the current Democrat platform: Democrats 2018: I mean, have you seen the other guys? At a time when there's so much political strife and controversy happening with the current administration, I think most of us are expecting more positive steps from political parties to represent the interests of the people. Health care, women's rights, climate change, immigrants rights, gentrification, wider divide between rich and poor, government sponsored violence, discord on a global scale, etc. These issues being addressed are what people are looking for in political parties. And instead, the Democrats are ignoring their constituents once again, choosing to go down the path of least resistance by saying: Give us your vote because at least we are not Trump. Democrats not only failed to deliver a viable candidate who represented the interest and favor of their base during the last election, they also failed to win the presidency. One would think that they'd go back to the drawing board and attempt a different strategy so as to inspire and engage their supporters. But given this last email, it's time that answer the following questions: Democrats: What in the world do y'all actually stand for? What exactly are y'all resisting? Resisting is what the people have been doing, all without the help and lead of any political party. It seems as though the only thing Democrats are resisting is any real political change. PSA about all these proposed cuts of all federal funds for art and culture. Trump and all alt-right strategists know how "dangerous" artists and culture workers are to their agenda. #Repost from @chhotimaa #artforchange #socialjustice #racialjustice #art4 #NEA
