A couple of recent small books made with some amazing vintage English hand made papers... The first, with a vellum spine, long stitch with Bishopstoke hot pressed hand-made paper made in the 1960s, probably. The second sewn on linen tapes with J Batcheloor and Sons paper, also hot pressed. Both with covers of Fabriano Roma, Italian handmade I'm a big fan of non-adhesive binding, using the natural tension of sewing and folding and stretching the elements of the book to create a stable structure. My "annex" studio in Washburn will shortly be available to book lovers, authors, photographers and artists who are looking for a place to explore these ideas.
