Made some Emotes and redrew my sona hope you guys like em ^^" I'm always up for constructive criticism. Im fairly new to digital drawings only been at it a year or two.

holy shit i love your art so much it's so gorgeous and also the reason my french teacher has gotten tired of reprimanding me for drawing ecthelion in class. also you got me to read tehta's fics so that was amazing, and soul destroying. One question, do you have any advice on shading skin? I just? I can't do it? Like I get the colors all wrong and have too many shades or too few or some of it looks too grey?

As for advice, studying photographs really helps. Don’t be afraid to pull colors directly from a photograph! It really helps you break down what colors are in the skin, and once you do this for a while, you’ll be able to craft a color palette on your own! Another thing to try is to study artists you like. Artists tend to use more exaggerated colors so it is easier to see how colors should be used.

This is actually something I still struggle with too, so let’s work hard together! :)
