Our lonely Moon
Moon is Earth’s little sister,
pulling the oceans like they are long hair,
winking at Sun, shining in his light,
but the rays are cold in the sky,
and Moon is a child alone
prisoner of gravity.
She’s playing tricks with younger beings
seducing Earth’s spirits
friend of werewolves and witches,
running in cirlces among comets and meteors
but still solitary and bored.
*
’What is Beauty?’
wanders the Moon
’Is it me,
in my midnight dress of the boring starlight?
Is it Earth, my lucky sister,
and her turquoise ocean hair?
Is it Sun himself,
his burning core,
with his smile of burning joy?
Or is it Space alone,
and the silence of our gigantic galaxy-home?’
