hi its about that time again

settled into a permanent living situation and have a pc again so ive been drawing...a little...trying to really expand my art boundaries this year so im prob gonna stop drawing the stuff i normally draw and grind anatomy practice etc. newest stuff at the top as always.

finally mostly finished the sprite sheet for my orange guy ! (wane, they/them) you'll get to meet them in the overseer files mod for rejuv that's coming out like next version or whatever.

coming up on 2 years of drawing somehow 0_0 still nowhere near where i want to be but getting there . as always i hope ppl enjoy following the journey and hopefully not a 3.5 month wait until my next artdump again next time

hi all

its me . just like i said i wanted to avoid, a 3.5 month wait since my last art recap . oops .

idk man. i was kinda on a hotstreak of feeling good abt my art from like mid january to mid march and then for 2 months after that i made nothing that looks passable at all and im closing my eyes to post some of it here but i told myself id be transparent and post everything, even things i hate (or almost, did a lot of anatomy studies for a little while im MOSTLY leaving off) . thankfully went back to liking my more recent stuff tho #NewBrushNewMe #FuckAntiAliasing

newest at the top like always . pink guy is the interceptor form of my normally green oc nace, idk if ive introduced him on here properly yet but ive posted her a bunch of times . i looove intense, tweaky and complex facial expressions, theyre kinda the reason i started drawing, and i want to/really should practice them more. idk . prob wont participate much in artfight this year but i still made the card fsr . whatev . onwards & upwards. no journey of improvement is a linear dunking on your previous works. sometimes the road to something you're actually proud of runs through a lot of things you think look terrible. and that, too, is improvement. 2 years of drawing down! (back in april) to 72 more maybe.

hi guys

its nearly 6am and i havent posted one of these in a couple months which means its the typical time for a chomp art dump. been involved in a lot of projects like an art collab, the rejuvswap demo and a zine that have kept me kinda busy not to mention anything about artfight lmao. i do really like this recent crescent sketch, since i draw her pretty often its cool to use her as a tracker of progress since there's one every few months.

i also moved recently which ended up not being as disruptive to my workflow as i expected but soon i'll be Moving with a capital M with no pc for a while so art will probably slow down in the coming months. hopefully not for too long though!

anyway heres a dump of sketches, some oc, some rejuv, and all the pixel icons i made for artfight! (the 2 are my ocs, the 6 are my attacks on other ppl. still kinda crazy to me I...have ocs now lmao) newest-oldest top to bottom as always. both of the fullbody color drawings are very rough/rushed and not my best work at all but i hope to put out something in that format that's actually polished eventually . One Day...

hi guys

its been a while lol. like i said last time, ive been moving around a lot and am only now finally just a couple weeks away from settling into a permanent living situation along with starting work recently, plus drawing on my laptop kinda sucks. all of this means i havent really been drawing much! but i have a little i guess...when i can bear 2fps and 2 secs of input lag on my dying laptop csp lol. most recent at the top as always. the most recent drawing is a study based off those freiren faces that have been all over twitter - that trend honestly makes me so fucking happy, seeing people throw themselves into the daunting hobby of drawing just like i did not so long ago (a year and a half now wtf...) really warms my heart in this age of people giving up on themselves and making ai slop. never give up! the indomitable human spirit only stops when you do!

pc soonish hopefully, so more art then. also i hope those of you that purchased it enjoyed the rejuv zine! my piece wasnt my best work but im still glad i made it and everyone's work was so amazing, crazy experience to be a part of. next time i'll make smth i can be truly proud of.

oops sorry forgot to make one of these earlier. a little late on this now but it's been a year since i started drawing !! the raven here is a redraw of my first drawing i did when i got my tablet, might redraw that once a year or set up some other yearly thing. also tried some painting once a month, first some bgs then a guy. i like the wingull one. no comment on the rest

been drawing this sinister green guy who can be quite pink at times. oc ramble maybe eventually coming in a separate post. he's doing fine. still cant believe i have ocs now lol

1 year down. yippee! all drawing posts are now and from now on will be in #artchompilation, something something thread of improvement...if you think you cant draw but want to, then START !!! NOW !!!

tried rendering yday...........no comment lol, ill try again at some point soon but do it completely differently i think. really not a fan. but just a few more months and itll have been a year since i started! rly excited, gonna have some sort of yearly milestone to track my progress but im not entirely sure yet. cya

yo! been a while since one of these art dumps, huh...oops. newest at the top as always. anyway, in a couple weeks it'll be a year since i started drawing! it's crazy to wrap my head around that lol, i hope someone has enjoyed or been motivated by me documenting my journey over the past year on here - if I can do it literally anyone can do it, pick up the pen. i'll throw them all into a tag that i'll add at some point when im less lazy. art tags w the word chomp in them hmmmm...

been p happy with my sketches recently, back in like february or early march i drew something of the mysterious green guy below (rare chomp event where its so bad i dont even post it here. ik im breaking the rule sorry) that was so fucking bad i think it made me lock in and everything ive drawn since then (starting from the 2nd green guy drawing, bottom most drawing is also pretty shit lol) ive actually rly liked, esp the angie sketch i speedran earlier today and the alexandra and clear. yippee. trying to do a lot of portrait studies so i can finally nail down a fucking style BUT GOD I NEED TO DRAW MORE FULLBODY IF THERE ISNT MORE IN THE NEXT UPDATE YELL AT ME

2024 art recap !! plus stuff from the past month and a half i hadn't dumped here, as always recent at the top

been a big year lol. as many ups and downs as starting drawing has had for me i've really enjoyed documenting my entire progression here (maybe ill throw it all in a tag for easy reference?) and i hope maybe someone out there has been motivated by it! to bigger and better things in '25, hopefully including clearing out my wips/ideas folder lmao. a man can dream. weird to finally start to feel like an "artist" looking at this
