Counting On Forever 72-60 oil. One of my works in "The Disillusionment of Truth" Www.ArtEmerge.org. Artist Statement: We live in a time when what is ethical is also social and the truth is ambiguous. We are bombarded by social media and instantaneousness news guiding our behavior and moral compass. The most pressing question of our time is how we will look back at who we are and how this “future history" will shape who we become. Will a shadow be cast over our culture and lives? Will our future history show that we had little or no concern for our fellow beings other than shaping them in our image? Will imagination, inspiration and intuition become part of how we live or will we turn a blind eye to the truth and continue down a path of moral turpitude? #toddwilliamson #artemerge #nicmarlin #frieze #wehoarts #laartist
