Personality: Artemis is a great mother. A wonderful sister. A darling daughter. She's always standing up for the little guy, showing off her emotional strength and smarts. She works as a physical therapist, which shows off her physical strength as well. Always the leader, Missy has gotten herself through some rough spots as she's grown. She is fluent in ASL thanks to her hearing problems and has picked up some Japanese to help her brother connect to his roots.
She has a little boy named Louis who she treasures and pampers, caring for him every single day.
Backstory: Adopted as a small child, Artemis went from uncertainty to love and warmth overnight. Helped through all her struggles with physical health, her mental health improved dramatically when she was brought home, and shown that she was worthy of love and care. A few years later, her father brought home Kaede, a little brother, for them to give all their love to.
Around four years ago, Missy had decided that she was ready to start a family. She has a support system that rivals most, finding a donor and going through all the right channels to have her little angel.
Motivations and Goals: Artemis’ main goal in life is to support her family. She wants them to live happy, healthy lives and will do whatever it takes to give them that support. She also wishes to help people in general, volunteering and working at her main job doing physical therapy to help people get back on the right foot in life.

Artemis is a black woman with non segmental vitiligo, covering a good portion of her face and her body. It travels up to her hair, discoloring her afro in the front, covers one of her eyes, discoloring that one, and covering her ear. The discolored eye and ear that's lightened have issues, leading to her needing strong prescription glasses and a hearing aid. Her eyes are green, and she has dark brown hair. She usually dresses in athleisure clothes, anything comfortable enough for her to chase the baby in. She is taller than average and has a very fit physique.
