Well, since you asked so nicely: Two sides of the same coin for Cecil.
(For reference, this is Cecil Ceisiwr).
Cecil has what every tyrant or self-obsessed egomaniac wants: eternal youth. This youth comes at a price - due to a rare heart condition, on his 16th birthday, he will eventually become more and more crippled and in pain over time, until death. This can be circumvented through a ritual involving waters beneath Arceus’ temple that rewind his body back to his 10th birthday.
Most of the time - 99% - this process wipes his memory of the events, allowing him to perpetually be kept alive and without knowledge or pain for as long as his elder sibling, Artemis, decrees.
Yet there are those times where he comes back... and remembers. Remembers everything. Cecil, in those moments, becomes hyper paranoid, anxious, even destructive, using the powers as the Choir Magnifica of Arceus in minute rampages in the temple until he can be subdued and rewound again. The suffering he endures over countless resets has driven his psyche to the brink of insanity, buried only by the constant refreshing of his body.
