NEW: Starr is Calling Things Off in New Song “I Quit”
After promising a return in early 2020, Reign’s Starr has released a new song and MV. Continuing with her exploration of a new, more acoustic sound, her MV includes a bunch of dancers performing the song in sign language.
While most are loving Starr’s new direction, many are wondering if the idol is doing well. A lot of her most recent releases have had a similar theme, and while it isn’t uncommon for idols to sing about breakups and hard times, fans have noted that Starr has a hand in a lot of her own songwriting, and that it is a noticeable shift from a lot of her previous music tonally.
Regardless of the concerns, Starr has stated that she won’t be promoting this song on music shows, but will make a few radio appearances.
