The admins including a "Failsafe Program" within Andre and Assimilation that makes their code slowly deteriorate a certain amount of time after a successful escape attempt. :)
I like to think Zac is an avid enjoyer of bad slashers, and he and Collin get together like once a month to make fun of them. They'll choose a few, stockpile some snacks and drinks, and binge 'em all night.
I like to think it makes Collin feel okay again, even if just for a little while. Gives him something to look forward to—something to stay for.
Maybe there's a home for him after all.
Actually talking about some of the plot shit going on in Artificial Divinity instead of just vaguely posting relevant concepts in the AU tag, GO!
⬩➤ After Vitri disappeared following an off-hand comment about something spreading in her world, Kevin jumped on the case. He investigated to find her world completely Enveloped, and came across the Interworld Doors in the process.
⬩➤ Assimilation left Andre in the forest following the betrayal. Collin allowed them to stay under the conditions that: A) they worked on reimbursing at least half of Collin's shit because apparently they're an "accomplice" and "equally as guilty" B) it helped keep other entities in line (things were ramping up: hungry and Souler combined efforts).
All the while, it planned on returning to Gridworld to retrieve Andre; the guilt eats at them.
They feel sick.
⬩➤ Vitri woke up in a glass quarantine in Gridworld unable to remember how she got there. All she knew was that she won't let the blue shit take her. She broke out, ran into Andre, and they navigate together.

⬩➤ Herobrine is Collin's neighbor. I imagine they have a quiet appreciation for each other, considering Herobrine is pretty much unobtrusive and Collin isn't a dick to him. They mean a lot to me for reasons only I understand, LOL.
⬩➤ I've seen people headcanon that Assim likes sheep, and it just kinda stuck with me. So, in my head, it captured a naturally spawned pink sheep that became their ultimate comfort. They like to curl up in the barn with her sometimes to take naps. She went unnamed for a while until Zac decided that was a crime and helped Assim pick one out, and after like thirty minutes of cycling through names, they settled on "Peony." It loves Peony more than anything. <3
⬩➤ Andre can draw extremely well??? I have zero idea where this one came from. It just popped up in my head and made a home for itself, and I was like, "Sure, why not?" And now I am unable to part with it.

Yapping about my favorite ever concept with AD!Collin because I've been chewing on him for a while. This is a mess, but whatever bro lmao.
Collin was arrested for AwesomeG's death
ⓘ AwesomeG's body was found three years after their initial disappearance by ████ and ████, dumped deep in a wooded area on ████’s private property in Oregon—more than 1500 miles from Collin and G’s home in the Texas panhandle.
Back when G first disappeared, there were three main theories: ⬩➤ Family Abduction (Parental). Their parents had made a public show of outrage when Collin successfully got custody of G and a protective order. Eventually disproven after thorough investigation. ⬩➤ Luring and Abduction. There was no evidence of an intruder nor a struggle, so they had thought that maybe G was talking to someone online or around town. There was no evidence to support either. Collin swore up and down that G was a smart kid and wouldn’t leave with anyone they weren’t close with without putting up a proper fight. G was typically avoidant of adults, standoffish at best around kids that weren’t their age, and refused to leave the house without Collin. ⬩➤ Runaway. G was close to Collin—attached at the hip even—and G was visibly much happier when they separated from their parents. No belongings were missing. Lack of motivation and evidence.
Between Collin being the only person G was close to, nothing else adding up, and Collin missing with no alibi the day G had disappeared, the spotlight inevitably shifted to him. After a long battle, he was finally cleared, but the damage had been done.
Everyone in that town still thinks Collin killed them.

Assimilation
Assimilation left Andre in the forest following the betrayal, retreating further into World 26, and they wished they hadn't looked back. The Admins standing proud around Andre's crumpled shell cradled in grass and mud spread across their code like a cancer. How they wished they could cut it away.
Collin allowed them to stay under the conditions that they reimbursed him for what Andre stole and helped keep other entities in line.
With guilt etched into their ribs and gnawing at their heart, Assimilation prepared to return to Gridworld. They would not—could not—leave Andre to rot.

Kevin
Kevin had known Vitri for years, so when she vanished after an off-handed mention of something spreading in her world, he jumped to investigate before it was too late. They refused to fail anyone else.
Her world was overrun with a blue sickness. It suffocated the grass and the trees and the stone. Mobs were warped and cocooned, tethered to the blocks beneath as it fed on their code. Unrecognizable. Kevin locked eyes, briefly, with the checkered face of a white figure in the distance before it disappeared.
The examination led him to Gridworld, to the Interworld Doors, then to the entity-infested World 26 and the owner who insisted he had it all under control—just as she said before she disappeared. And the best part?
Some of the inhabitants had leads.
Vitri
Vitri couldn't remember how she got here: contained in a glass quarantine with only a few meters of space to move—put on display as if she were nothing but a mere specimen. But the blue tendrils writhed like feasting maggots beneath her skin, burrowing deeper into her muscle, settling into the marrow of her bones, and she refused to let it take her. Not here. Not like this.
She needed out.
Beyond the glass stood a labyrinthine nightmare of sterile white grid reflecting too-bright florescents. Countless hours of walking identical hallways and rooms she didn't understand. Alone. Alone save for the mind-numbing hum of electricity, the padding of her footsteps, and her pulse rushing in her ears.
Things got much easier when she found Andre.
Andre
The seed was familiar in a way he didn't understand but still clung to the back of his mind—a web that caught fleeting thoughts that something was missing. That something was wrong.
The timer hit three hours, and he was still staring at the lava pool. The general consensus was that the timer was broken. After all, it had only been two minutes.
. . . Right?

He woke up in the glass cage again.
