Ever since Chara had grown stubby horns, Asriel had wondered when his Artificial soul would freak out again and give him his other horn. Even in his normal self, he wanted his horns to finally start growing.
For a while now, he had an itch on his back—an itch that wouldn’t go away. He had tried letting Chara and Flowey scratch his back and even check to see if fleas have started infesting his fur. It wouldn’t go away, and he was getting annoyed of it.
He woke up in the middle of a night because his stomach wouldn’t stop rumbling. Tiredly walking downstairs for some food, he was finding what every kid wants—the cookie jar! He spotted it hanging on some vines at the ceiling along with a knife planted on it by the jar. He remembered that Chara and Flowey once fought for it a few days ago.
“Ugh, I’m too tired and hungry to use magic… and this itch isn’t helping!” He began to scratch his back once again. He then felt something… soft, and oddly cold on his back. Before he could check it, he winced his eyes as he felt a sharp pain on his his head. It stopped after a while, and when he placed a hand on it, he felt another horn!
He grew a bit happy about this. He turned his head to see what he felt on his back, and his eyes widened in shock as he has also grown a pair small wings! The wings were reminiscent of the ones during his 'Angel of Death' form. He stared at it in silence for a bit before saying to himself, "T-that solves my lack of magic problem."
After several minutes of trying, he was able to lift himself off the ground and gain just enough height to finally reach the cookie jar.
