How’s it goin?? Wanted to stop by and drop off my lady Stains over here. Note that I drew this, like, over a year ago, and the anatomy is really wonky cuz I was still working on that at the time lol. Either way, I’ve been thinking of getting back to the story she’s in, and I was wondering if you had any advice on the design.
Two notes, one being that in the story she’s in, Pink Diamond is replaced by Red Diamond, and it’s really only a change in name and appearance she’s basically the same I just wanted the court colors to line up a lil better lol. As for the outfit, I’m aware of the fact that it’s not standard quartz attire, and that was because in her current form she was initially stationed on an ice giant so I thought it would be cute if she was in winter clothes.
Story-wise, she was part of this angsty side plot where she was separated from her battalion in a battle and wrongfully imprisoned as a rebel. She sustained a significant mouth injury during the whole thing and the extended trauma turned it into a Volleyball type situation where the scar is a representation of the lasting effects and all that. The main group of characters eventually break her out and she gets to live a peaceful life on a free planet with a couple of other liberated gems by the end. Good for her!!

Before you tell me "I didn't say she was defective" or something like that, hear me out:
Skinny quartz, defective. Why abandoned separated? Defective. Why imprisoned as a rebel? Defective (let's be honest gems wanting justice the most would be defective gems). I probably took a bit too much creative liberty-
Did the obligatory uniform AND another outfit trying to fit the story. My train of thought was "smoky hair down she sad smoky hair up she free" and because I like the winter clothes.
Mostly simplified the clothes and scar, hair is smoky and colors are based of a gemstone. I thought the colors were a bit too dull/dark if she were to be on SU, I say as I completely ignored Smoky Quartz (fusion).
