Bυт мαувє fяσм тнє MADNESS!! Sσмєтнιиg... вєαυтιfυℓ... ωιℓℓ gяσω... It’s the Artilleryman from Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds as portrayed by Ricky Wilson in the 2013 New Generation performance at the O2!

my english teacher: ah at least she's taking the war of the worlds seriously
me: *trying to work out whether the narrator and artilleryman as a couple would be more like karma and nagisa or veronica and JD*

Rest easy, my Cassandra, my sentinel of Troy.
You fought too long and hard to watch your visions come to pass.
I regret, but cannot bear to censure you
For your untimely departure:
Of all that could have been, and all the paths not taken
I'm sorry to have lost you.
If only we had seen that it had been a long time coming--
Before the summer morning found you trapped,
Somewhere between your hindsight and your foresight
Hemmed in by ghosts and disappointed hopes
And finding no way forward.

Finally did a drawing I actually like / am proud of! Here’s Ricky Wilson’s character ‘The Artilleryman’ from Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds. Going as him for halloween, so why not draw him? I know I drew his legs quite short but I don’t dare re-do them. The armor was way too difficult, hah. Overall though, I’m pretty proud of it! I don’t draw (vaguely) realistically very often, so it was a fun little test c:
