the box she's presented alice with is obviously rattling a little bit, giving hint to the small puppy tucked safely inside. a gift, to go with their new home. kara smiles warmly at alice, gesturing to the box as she says, ' go ahead, open it! '
THE SOUND FROM THE BOX CONFUSES HER , and for a moment , alice is scared . but she trusts kara , and she leans down to open the top of the box , heartrate rising as the wet nose touches her finger , and she squeals , “ kara ! ” excitement takes her over as she lifts the small animal from it’s box , eyes alight as it licks her face and she squeals , “ it’s a puppy ! ” she cheers , “ does - did - does it have a name ? ” she asks , already starting to roll around on the ground with the tiny creature .
