1 marzo 1455: nasce Sandro Botticelli

Details of a vector drawing I did of a ceiling in the Durbar Hall of the British Residency, in Hyderabad. This incredibly beautiful handmade ceiling consists of two borders enclosing three dodekagram (12 pointed stars) with ornate motifs within. #BritishIndia #EastIndiaCompany #BritishResidency #ArtInfluence #Heritage #Mughal #Raj #BritishRaj #DurbarHall #BritishResidency #Deccan #Golconda #Vector #VectorArt #VectorDrawing #Adobe #AdobeIllustrator #MyArt #Tessellation #Repeat #Print #Pattern #Jaipur #JaipurDiaries #JaipurJournal #
About art influence. Last year I had found a new song, that i put “on repeat” in my mp3 player. It’s a new collaboration between the Radiohead singer Thom Yorke and an English electronic musician Mark Pitchard. I was thinking what this film still “with stone” (from their videoclip “Beautiful people”) reminds me and... of course! Of course it’s reminds me René Magritte’s “The Glass Key” from 1959! :D The similar composision, mood, (stone!), pastel blue-green colors etc. I found this picture accidently today on my old hard drive. Just only look on it:
And by the way, it’s about song:
“In a press release, Mark Pritchard said: The original instrumental to “Beautiful People” is a personal song about loss, hopelessness and chaos, but the message is love and hope. Thom’s contribution to this collaboration captured perfectly what the piece is about. I will be forever grateful to have worked with such an immense talent."
