I needed to relax, and actually had some time to draw today, big shocker, so I designed some art ink grammas.

Self care is making OCs and then falling in love with them...fact? <small> This was actually pretty relaxing. Not a "vent" drawing persay but more of a "chill the hell out" drawing"

These Artinks are friends, Barbara (Barb) and Helen. They met at the OLCMC, with the hopes that getting Ink DNA would help restore their youth and hopefully extend their lifespan. This will be fully fleshed out once they get reference sheets (hopefully soon ^^;)

Helen's flower is a Rose, while the invasive species is a Poppy. She's an old grump, who refuses to let go that she is getting old. She tends to snap at people and grumble under her breath. She's losing her vision in her left good eye and as a bit of an A-hole.

Barb's plant is the Lamb's Ear, while the invasive species is the kaleidoscope Flower (I think thats what it's called) http://www.forestwander.com/2011/06/kaleidoscope-flowers/ She's a sweeter, fun loving granny who also is aware of how much longer she has left, but it doesn't let her bother her. Heck, she uses it as a motivation to try to do everything she's ever wanted to do.

Barb and Helen try to keep in touch, but Barb is constantly traveling from place to place on her trusty little scooter. They keep in touch using letters (Helen refuses to try any of that social media mumbo jumbo). They enjoy tea time together.

Both Helen and Barb are Common Hybrid Artinks, I believe. ^^;
