this will be my 2K post! it is the end of one chapter and the beginning of an exciting new one! I have been so blessed & grateful for the past 8 years to have built and run a successful nail studio. I have learned so much from clients, friends, and fellow nail techs that I will take with me into my next venture. So many laughs, stories, tears, & sometimes frustration. But through it all I have grown & wouldn’t trade a moment of it, to be right here where I am today. As I start my last day in this space, my studio, my second home, my sanctuary at times, a sanctuary for others at times, I feel fortunate. As so many of you who own your business can probably relate to, the first step is terrifying. Wondering if you’re making the right choice to go out on your own. If clients will come to you. If clients will stay. If you can afford to hold on when things get tough. If you’re crazy for some of the stuff that we in this industry put up with. If it’s all worth it. Then your business grows and you have other steps forward. The long hours, the crazy scheduling because you don’t want to say no to a client. The missed events because your booked completely and wouldn’t be able to move anyone last minute. The late nights or super early mornings (5:30am, yes I did once) because a really good client is leaving for vaca and you know how much it would mean to her have fabulous nails! Again as I start my last day, the feeling of being fortunate is strong. Fortunate because I can YES without hesitation that it was all worth it. Fortunate that I came in everyday to a business that was all mine, that I built and carried all on my own. Fortunate that as a young women I was able to step past my fear and doubt in myself and build and grow and learn how to be successful. Fortunate that as all of my 245 clients move onto the next nail tech that will take care of them, I made so many friends and was able to be apart of so many milestones in their lives. And last but not least, I feel fortunate that when I close my door, and pass the keys to the next owner of this space, that this isn’t the end! Thank you to everyone that has been on this journey with me, I take a piece of you with me!💕 (at Paisley Nail Studio) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1y0Dy1F4_b/?igshid=dt3802p8ox3l
