Canvas boards 👍🏼 or 👎🏼. I wanted to share the results of an experiment I did this weekend. I’m probably not the first to try this, but I hadn’t researched it and thought if this. With pour work, canvas boards tend to warp, or turn in on the sides because of the length of time and amount of moisture they are exposed to. I’ve seen videos where the suggestion is to bend back the boards periodically during the drying process, but a lot of times I forget or literally fall asleep & don’t do it, so I tried this...I used electrical tape because of its elasticity. When I tape it I pull it to make it taught. So far, every board I’ve tried this on doesn’t warp and I don’t need to bend it back. 🤷🏻♂️ just my experience so far. #acrylicpouring #canvasboards #paintingtipoftheday #scottalexanderarthaus #artisexpensive #artistsoninstagram (at S.
