Several people ask how I draw fast...and well a lot of it is just built from pressure growing up around very eager, and impatient people, and wanting to please people all the time. I hate seeing the confusion, or impassive face of someone who is watching me draw in the early stages of an image. Like when you're barely a few lines into the sketch, and you feel these people have already made their judgement - like you're not good enough? Or you were not what they expected? So as a result I've pushed myself out of spending too much time in the rough sketch stage, and focused on using colour and dynamic angles to often get the impact through to whoever is watching me draw. I just hate disappointing others. Moreso, I hate being watched while I draw.
