Contour line artists: Calling for contributions
Guys, I’m going to publish a book (e-book and paperback) of my poetry at last, and I’d like to have at least 8 pictures in it. Since I totally can’t draw, I need your help on that, please. Here’s how.
Type of pictures: Very minimal, only a few lines/curves in the entire picture that suggest the presence of a star, a planet, or another celestial body (galaxies, comets, etc.), or a man-made object in space (satellites, telescopes, etc.). It doesn’t have to be the contour of the whole object—just a part of it. Like I said: only an intimation of the object in the sky.
Color scheme: Black or grey lines on white background
Picture size: High resolution, at least 300 pixels per inch, in JPEG format
Submission: Email your picture(s) or send the link (e.g. to access the file on Drive) to [email protected].
No. of pictures needed: At least 8, one of which is going to be the cover of the book.
What you get: If your picture is selected, your name (or pseudonym if you prefer), affiliation, and contact information will be included in the book as the drawing’s artist. Sorry I can’t pay you for this.
Deadline: March 31, 2018 (Talk to me if you’re interested but not okay with this time frame.)
Thanks so much, guys. I really hope we can do this together.
