a little glimpse into my marker and ink eyes. 👁️ i am hoping to work on this a bit more outside tonight after work but i might have to watch the hockey game instead. ✌🏻

i've been wanting to take my posca and micron pens to this orange alcohol ink piece for a few weeks and with all the gorgeous fall foliage these days in montreal i felt super inspired.
it's not quite finished yet but swipe to see some of the progress made today ✨ i'll be finishing it up tonight!
we went for a drive to get out of the house on this beautiful fall day and ended up passing by my in-laws' place just to take the dog for a walk 🦮
here's a shot i took of her and my husband because the trees and the setting were perfect 🍁📷 it almost makes up for not being in new hampshire
welcome to my life for the next month! several covid-related restrictions came back into effect yesterday in montreal until at least november so i'm just looking at it as an opportunity to do more art and snuggle my cats 😸
i'm just hoping for a few more unseasonably warm days so i can draw outside a bit before the snow starts☀️

i decided to temporarily relocate my art space to another area because between spending 5 days a week working all day, doing yoga, and doing all my art in the same room, i needed a change of scenery.
since in montreal we're not allowed to have anyone over to our homes effective october 1st, i'm thinking this main floor set up might work well for a while :)
i'm happy to finally be done the pencil part of this drawing! time to add some colour 🖌️
