THE JOURNEY BACK HOME A story of jealousy, hatered and love. Dilruba was falsely lured in to come to Mumbai from Bareilly two years ago in the false pretence of a flourishing career in modelling. Little did she know she was actually being taken to Mumbai to become a dancer in a seedy beer bar. She decided to accept what was happening to her to save her disabled husband in Bareilly. With the money she was earning she was able to pay to look after her husband, she was a strong woman and had decided that once her husband was a bit better she would escape from this wretched hell hole. Dilruba was well respected in the bar, and slowly she had managed to gain the trust of her captors , they assumed Dilrube to be a part of their gang but in reality Dilruba was just playing a game with them to get herself out of this mess without causing further harm. The time had come and she had saved enough money to finally elope. She was going to leave the beer bar tomorrow for good. Tonight, she was called into the dressing room by ' Rajan Bhai' to groom their latest recruit. Dilruba, was told to take the girl inside. The girl was heavily drugged and her face was covered with a cloth so Dilruba gently took the girl inside. She slowly uncovered the girl's face to wake her up but as soon as she removed the cloth Dilruba's heart stopped beating. The girl was her own sister ' Mitali '. Mitali and Dilruba had never got along. Mitali did everything she could do ruin Dilruba's life just out of jealousy. Mitali was the reason behind Manav's ( Dilruba's husband ) disability. Dilruba's heart was racing, she couldn't believe that her sister would have to endure that same fate as her. Just when she thought her troubles were coming to an end , destiny changed everything for her in a minute. ‘ #FEAR’ and ‘ME’ Photo by @ronyhernandes I absolutely love this photo. We all will look at this photograph and come up with different interpretations. To me it shows ‘FEAR’ and it’s relationship with myself. I will try and explain why. ‘FEAR’ is mostly referred to as a negative emotion. I however look at it differently. ‘FEAR’ on the contrary has some positive effects on us, it’s only a matter of perception. Please hear me out ... FEAR makes us alert; it makes us attentive; it warns us and reminds us to be careful; it makes us self aware helping us realise our potential. FEAR can be our friend if we let it. There is no reason to detest FEAR , it shows it self in times of need when we need it to get through a difficult situation, in fact FEAR helps overcome challenges, the adrenaline rush caused by ‘FEAR’ can be live saving. To me ‘FEAR’ is like that embrace exemplified in this picture, it’s that invisible bond and love it shares with my core. It’s always there within me , beside me and shows itself when needed, ‘FEAR’ in an extension of me a part of me. ‘FEAR’ is not my enemy any more it is my friend indeed.
