How did they make 121 episodes of Glee, 7 of which include a storyline about him getting it on with Rachel's mum (ew), and didn't have Noah fucking Puckerman sing "Stacey's Mom" in any of them? He had sex with so many mothers and yet, here we are, without what would hands down be the most contextual song Glee would've ever performed. That's not the only song either. Rachel singing "You Belong With Me" for Finn in Season 1, Artie singing "Grenade" for Tina or Brittany after a breakup, a full version of Kurt's "Mr Cellophane" because it's perfect and we deserved more, Santana singing "I Can't Make You Love Me" for Brittany when she confesses her love but Brittany chooses Artie, I have mentioned it before but Brittany singing "E.T" for Santana when they do get together because it's weird and upbeat and so Brittany's style. There are a LOT more, but these ones I just looooove for these characters and I never got to see it happen!
Also... "You Could Be Happy" sung as a duet by Quinn and Puck for their daughter, Beth, in Season 2 or 3. Maybe just one of them but I prefer duet. It could've cut between them being regretful of giving her up, if it was in Season 3 then it could've been interspersed with shots of them playing with Beth but being essentially overshadowed by Shelby, her adoptive mum. Definitely including this in a fic one day, just you wait, but would've prefered it in cannon, and maybe it would've happened if the writers focused on relationships that were parental and platonic as much as they focused on toxic romances and bullshit plots. Anywhom...
Thank you for listening to my Glee rant, I have a lot more where this came from.
