The seminar which started on time saw an influx of interested participants who were more than engaged as they absorbed the knowledge shared by 0Facilitators David Barker, Dameain Williams of Barbados and Nikos Arvanitis of Greece. As the seminar progressed, participants were told that balance is important to life, and equally important in mixing the right cocktail. What is Alcohol, Base Spirits and Classic Cocktails were among the areas discussed during the first session. Participants were also exposed to the ‘flare’ technique in their pursuit to interest their customers in a particular drink. As participant’s listened intently, they took notes and were also treated to cocktails prepared in demonstration by their Facilitators. Participants were also afforded the opportunity to fish from the minds of their Facilitators, as they asked questions to gain further knowledge. The Caribbean and European Instructors captivated the attention of all attendees; with their humour, knowledge, stories, techniques and skills.
