I walked out of the Westin after 3 days at @travel_con and this gentleman crossed the street with me. I was really only thinking of driving home, feeding the dogs and unpacking my bag and my brain. The #bostonpubliclibrary is next door and we came upon a bridal party and their photographers milling around. The size of the party filled the area and people wove around and through. The man took an interest in them and I in him. He was tidy but disheveled. Alone but not lost. It had rained earlier and he wore a trench coat. No one acknowledged him with even a smile as the walked around and past him. This went on at least 15 minutes before I finally told him goodbye and left the 14 in the party, 3 photographers and two drivers to enjoy theirs. All lives matter.
