Gods Meeting

"Gods from Different Pantheons Meeting Each Other"  Art Prompt Challenge 05-Jan-2021 This is another week of art prompt challenges. I am having fun doing this I did Geb (Egyptian Mythos) and Gywdion (Celtic/Welsh Mythos). I had a lot of fun figuring out how I wanted to make each of these and went through a couple drafts.  Next week may be a little weird and it may be a late at night one and be much shorter due to work issues but, I will try to make it work.

This bit of silliness is brought to you by me, based on an art prompt challenge given by @andriacrowjoy. A few days ago I asked for 3 words and a color, and I would create something based on that. She gave me "elastic, storm, bears, blue". Elastic?! WTF do I do with that?! But here's the result. Where's the elastic you ask? I hot glued recycled elastic to the back of the bears and it's what lifts them off the page and gives them a bit of sproing. It's not high art, but it's fun and was fun to make.

First Art Prompt Challenge Final- February: Gwenpool/Selfie

Wow, a month flew by already with this one! First in what I hope to be a long running monthly art prompt series with the first being “Gwenpool/Selfie.” Things were a bit busy and hectic since I was trying to do several things and playing Monster Hunter World just made things more complicated in getting back to drawing. Working with @kj-comix really helped get me motivated and back into the swing of things and she really helped keep me on task, even if it wasn’t always readily apparent. You can see her take on the prompt over here.

I was a bit worried about how to get started on this one though. Like, she’s a self aware and fourth wall breaking character (who wouldn’t be with how she supposedly comes from “the real world”) so I figured I play up on that aspect in this piece. That and going down the rabbit hole in poses and other ideas to make things work, then ultimately deciding on incorporating some stuff I like into the mix! Also included the none Instagram-ish version for those that don’t want the type.
