Thesis Assignment
1. A Museum of New Media Art should give the viewer the choice whether to read about the work or to simply view it. A way in order to hide the description of each work is required.
2. A Museum of New Media Art should grab viewers attention and interest whether the work is interactive or stagnant.
3. A Museum of New Media Art should proceed the boundaries within a gallery. Works should be displayed outside (nearby) the museum as well as inside.
4. A Museum of New Media Art should have all of its works available on the Internet for people to view online at there own leisure.
5. A Museum of New Media Art should go beyond ones imagination. People should see things they would have never even thought of doing.
6. A Museum of New Media Art should be well equipped to house New Media art. Whether it be providing maintenance for the technological side of the work or providing a gallery room large enough to hold the work.
7. A Museum of New Media Art should be organized in categories to distinguish what type of New Media art each work is.
8. A Museum of New Media Art should have art that is temporary (in means of seeing it in person) yet can always be referred back to through internet archives.
9. A Museum of New Media Art should not restrict people from touching or interaction of the artworks. The viewers should have hands-on experience when at the museum.
10. A Museum of New Media Art should leave a lasting impression on its visitors to spark their entrance in coming back.
