Did Arvid have to teach Oskar his video games?

Some of them, yes! But Oskar discovered a lot of muscle memory. Even though he didn't remember, some part of him still knew, so the adjustment was very quick. Arvid is fairly sure Oskar was a Xbox guy in his previous life, as those controls seemed to come to him much more easily than Playstation did. And he struggles with PC gaming.

I know it's very out of character for him, but what if Oskar tried to run away? How would arvid deal with it and which consequences/punishments(?) would he think of?

I think he wouldn't really know what to do, and then after like 2 to 3 days he would get really mad and probably have Oskar forcibly returned by his coworkers. And then get... less nice.

What would Arvid do if someone attacked or assaulted Oskar?

He would make a couple calls to some coworkers, and assume the matter was dealt with. Which, of course, it would be. Quietly, quickly, and no one would ever know except for the assaulter in question, who would know exactly why they were dying right when it is too late to be saved.

Arvid, would you ever help Oskar get an own life or encourage him to be independent? Would you ever get rid of him?

Arvid's nose wrinkles. "Oh, Christ. Are you one of those people, the lib people? No, of course I'm not going to get rid of him. He has a perfectly good life with me. Plus, the whole point of the... the pet thing is that they didn't want independence, right? They wanted somebody else to make all their choices. Well, for Oskar, that's me. So no. He stays."

in oskar’s cw tags for arvid it says whumper who mostly doesn’t whump, when has arvid done something you would consider whumper behavior?

I think Arvid's attitude about Oskar counts! He really doesn't care about the dehumanization or the fact that Oskar is a whole person. He's Arvid's pet and that is all Arvid cares about. So he really isn't a caretaker, just ... a less whumping whumper.

I love Arvids and Oskars relationship. I know it‘s messed up but… I love every bit you write about them!

Arvid and Oskar fascinate me because they are not quite platonic but also definitely not romantic but also Oskar is so in love...

How would that conversation between Arvid and Oskar gone if Arvid had said yes to Oscar's question...? Like how would Oskar have taken it and stuff? Would their dynamic change...

If Arvid reacted by being absolutely up for it, or just making it clear that sooner or later he would use him for sex?

Oskar would be uncomfortable and nervous and a little scared and would probably just try to ask Arvid Not to hurt him because he has always been hurt as part of it before just out of handlers not really caring if they cost him pain or not.

But Oskar is also very aware that this is the best case scenario for what was going to happen to him when he was sold out of the Facility. It's still better than training. So he would try very very hard to please Arvid and hope that it didn't take too much or too long.

The dynamic with absolutely change. Oskar would become much more withdrawn.

Ok. But let‘s say, hypothetically!

Because of a new law all pets will be set free regardless of if they want to or not.

Would Oskar insist on continuing to live with Arvid? Would they build their little shared flat?

And what would that life look like? Would there be a lot of change?

Oskar wouldn't willingly go. He would be terrified of the idea of being on his own. He would stay on as Arvid's "roommate" and change as little as possible. And he would wear his collar at home still. Arvid would change nothing about his own behavior whatsoever.

Why should he care what the fucking cops think about his life? Everything he does is already illegal.
