“.....Brother Takumi.” He can’t help but add a little emphasis to ‘brother’, the depth of such a word hangs heavy on Kamui’s heart, words spilling forth with both guilt and sorrow intertwined... and he wonders: Is this truly the right thing to do? Of course he’d anticipate this the very moment he made his decision. To others it may have seemed easy, to betray his true family, to side with a kingdom he isn’t tied to with blood, but Kamui is sure he can set things right. How? Who knows. The various glares given in response to words hesitantly uttered forth begin to prod at Kamui’s insides. There’s a growing fear rattling his bones, the amount of dread is easily noticeable in his tone alone, yet Kamui knows that such actions aren’t worthy of any apologies at present. It is a war beyond his understanding. Something so great, and yet he’s willing to place the lives of many upon his own shoulders alone. It’s almost unbearable to look at his own brother. He who stands proud, for the kingdom Kamui is tied to by blood alone, holding memories lost within fate’s unfortunate hands. Kamui realizes after several moments that he’s holding his breath, exhaling heavily as eyes downcast to the ground beneath them both. “I need you to understand... why this is my decision.”
